Tasting Note

Cool, tart breeze of forest fruits dominate the aromas, followed by a broad and deep first impression on the palate with blueberries, gooseberries and juniper berries. Further layers of fine oak, dark chocolate, velvety tannins and nutmeg complete the mouth feel before the orange peel-dominated, beautifully long and silky finish.

Product Notes

The Sauska Cuvée 5 is a rich and complex red wine that is sure to impress even the most discerning palates. This blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes offers a bold and fruity flavor profile that is balanced out by the wine's smoky and earthy undertones. The wine is aged in oak barrels, which gives it a smooth and creamy finish. The Sauska Cuvée 5 is a versatile wine that can be paired with a wide variety of foods, from rich meats to bold cheeses. Overall, it is a standout red wine that showcases the best of Hungarian winemaking.
