About Silver Lining

Silver Lining Wines is a small, purpose‑driven winery in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, launched in 2020 by winemaker Marty Edwards. After nearly two decades in the wine industry working with his family’s estate vineyards, Edwards founded Silver Lining as a new label following his diagnosis with Parkinson’s disease. The project was born out of both a love for cool‑climate Adelaide Hills fruit and a desire to give back: all proceeds from wine sales are directed to support Parkinson’s disease research in Australia.

Edwards draws on deep regional experience, having grown up in the Hills and worked with its distinctive vineyards before starting his own brand. Silver Lining sources fruit from elite parcels across the elevated, breezy sites of the region, and embraces a site‑driven, respectful approach to winemaking to showcase the natural vibrancy and balance of Adelaide Hills varieties.

The winery’s portfolio features crisp, aromatic Sauvignon Blanc and elegant Chardonnay, both reflecting cool‑climate freshness, alongside refined Pinot Noir and Shiraz reds that combine fruit purity with nuanced spice and structure. These wines demonstrate the region’s versatility and Edwards’ commitment to quality while advancing a meaningful philanthropic purpose.
