Summer Dreams

Summer Dreams is the latest venture from Jayson Woodbridge, the visionary owner and winemaker behind the cult-status Napa Valley label, Hundred Acre. While Woodbridge is famed for his 100-point Cabernet Sauvignons, Summer Dreams represents his obsession with the cool-climate elegance of the West Sonoma Coast.

The project began in 2005 as a personal endeavor for Jayson and his wife, Helen Woodbridge, to craft wines that captured the "feeling" of a California summer. It has since evolved into a serious, ultra-premium label. Woodbridge oversees the Pinot Noirs, while winemaker Ashley Holland leads the white wine program, bringing experience from acclaimed estates like Three Sticks.

The winery sources from a collection of prestigious micro-vineyards across the western Sonoma Coast, including the legendary Heintz Vineyard. These sites sit between 900 and 1,900 feet in elevation, characterized by rare, well-draining Goldridge sandy loam soils and direct marine influence. The estate is currently establishing its permanent home at the historic Petersen Ranch in Sebastopol.
