Tasting Note

Subtle notes of yellow peach and pollen introduce this gorgeously sunny yet complex Spätlese. Flavors of tangerine and preserved quince drench the palate in waves of zesty sweet-tart fruit, but there's also a depth of smoke, slate and struck flint in the backdrop. Delightful already, this will continue to open and meld through 2035

Product Notes

Weingut Joh. Jos. Prüm Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Spätlese is a very special wine. Made from hand-selected Riesling grapes grown in the vineyards of the Graacher Himmelreich in the Mosel region of Germany, this wine is bursting with flavor and personality. The grapes are harvested late in the season, ensuring maximum ripeness and concentration of flavors. This Spätlese displays a bright, golden color and a nose of stone fruits, citrus, and honey. On the palate, it is rich and round with flavors of apricots, peaches, and a hint of minerality. This wine is perfect for pairing with spicy foods, as its sweetness helps balance out the heat. It is a true expression of the terroir of the Mosel and a testament to the winemaking skills of Weingut Joh. Jos. Prüm.
