Tasting Note

Pale straw in colour with green highlights. Aromas of fresh pear juice with white flowers, a hint of feijoa and cinnamon stick. Initially the palate opens with Nashi pear and jasmine, followed by baked apple and cinnamon through the mid-palate. Generous fruit flavours are complemented by a rich mouth-feel and a creamy, lingering finish.

Product Notes

Yalumba Y Series Pinot Grigio is a refreshing and vibrant white wine from Australia's oldest family-owned winery, Yalumba. This wine is pale straw in colour and offers aromas of pear and citrus blossom on the nose. On the palate, it is delicate and zesty with flavours of green apple, lime and lychee, which are balanced perfectly with a crisp acidity. This wine is a delightful pairing with seafood, light salads or on its own as a refreshing summer drink. With its great value for money, Yalumba Y Series Pinot Grigio is a perfect choice for those who love a light and easy drinking white wine.

About the Winery

Yalumba

Yalumba is a rich and ancient Australian wine label founded in 1849. This is a family-owned winery that showcases the richness of the Barossa Valley terroirs through its wines. Samuel Smith, the founder of Yalumba, understood the Barossa valley's potential, as soon as he set foot here. While planting the first vines here, he had the utmost respect for the land, and six generations later, Yalumba wines are still produced with a lot of respect for the region's terroirs.
