Tasting Note

From the old-world Rhône Syrah to the South Australian red sweetheart, Shiraz evolves once again in the sandy soils of Blewitt Springs. Sourced from six unique blocks on our elevated site, the elegant Yangarra Shiraz is shaped by its connection to the sand and ironstone soils that overlie the ancient North Maslin Sands geological formation beneath.

Product Notes

The wine is velvety smooth with well-integrated tannins, offering a luxurious mouthfeel and a lingering finish. Perfect for pairing with grilled meats or hearty cheeses, Yangarra Estate Vineyard Shiraz is a sophisticated and delicious choice for any wine enthusiast.

About the Winery

Yangarra Estate Vineyard

Yangarra Estate Vineyard Winery is a treasure nestled in the McLaren Vale wine region of South Australia. It holds a captivating history spanning over 75 years since its establishment by Bernard Smart in 1946. The winery owes its name to Smarts wife, Yangarra. Originally the estate was utilised for farming. Smart quickly recognized its exceptional potential for grape cultivation and planted the first vines in 1947.
