Product Notes

Four Vines The Biker Zinfandel is a bold and robust wine crafted from Zinfandel grapes grown in the sunny hills of California's Paso Robles region. With a full-bodied and complex flavor profile, this wine is quintessentially Zinfandel, with notes of blackberry, plum, pepper, and spice. The Biker Zinfandel is aged in American oak barrels for 10 months, contributing notes of vanilla and oak to the wine. Perfectly balanced tannins and acidity make this wine a great pairing for hearty dishes like burgers, barbecue, and grilled meats. This wine is a perfect representation of the wild rebel spirit of Four Vines, delivering a truly unforgettable experience.

Tasting Notes

Black cherry and spicy aromas lead to an elegant palate of wild blackberry and plum flavors bolstered by a touch of black pepper and sweet, toasted oak. The 2019 offers a plush mouthfeel and a long, velvety finish.

About the Winery

Four Vines

The Four Vines is a highly reclaimed and renowned winery and Chardonnay and Zinfandel producer based in California. It got established back in 1994 by winemaker Christian Tietje. However, the wine estate originated in a surf shack and garage. At that time, Christian served as a chef in a restaurant in Boston. It allowed him to develop the sensory attributes and experience to build his career in winemaking.

By the early 2000s, Christian developed and produced full-flavoured and aromatic wines. The drinks caught the attention and interest of a colossal number of people across the globe. Gradually, the fame and reputation of the winery grew, allowing the production to increase to 120,000 cases.

Today, the Four Vines winery remains under the ownership of Purple Wine Company. The latter got established by Derek Benham in 2001. It remains based in the town of Graton in California. The winery produces high standard and top-quality wines. They are of noble grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, etc.

The union of Four Vines Winery and Purple Wine Company has allowed the former to grow extensively in scale. In addition to that, it has permitted the winery to produce and sell the highest-quality wines. Overall, the Four Vines Brand grew as a category leader because of the decision.

The vineyards of Purple Wine Company remain spread across a vast ranchland. It remains blessed and filled with fertile soil that adds to the quality of the planted vines and harvested grapes. In addition to that, the winery practices and implements simplistic methods and techniques in the fields. It allows them to preserve and conserve the natural qualities and attributes of the land. This approach and strategy minimised the impact on the environment. Instead, it maximised the yield and product standards.
