It is made using a combination of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grapes that are grown in the Castiglioni estate in Tuscany. The wine has a rich and complex palate with a firm structure and rounded tannins. It pairs well with red meat dishes, game, and mature cheese. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels and can be enjoyed now or for the next five years.
