Gabriëlskloof Magdalena Walker Bay Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshing white blend with a unique and complex character. Its intense aromas of green apple, lemon zest, and freshly cut grass add freshness and liveliness to the wine. This semi-sweet blend reveals complex layers of honeyed apricot, quince, and ginger with a hint of minerality in the background. The wines of South Africa are known for their unique nature that reflect the spirit of the terroir and the character of their region where the fruit is cultivated. Gabrielskloof wines are no different. It was during 2001 that Bernard Heyns zeroed in on a farm, Avonturr, located on the outskirts of Botrivier, to realise his aim of creating wines that reflected that richness of their terroir.
