Tasting Note

Deep fruitcake richness on the nose, cinnamon and nutmeg spices, followed by a perfectly balanced, silky smooth, streamlined body. Misleadingly accessible, despite the current appeal, there is enough underlying power for a long future ahead.

Product Notes

Journey's End Cape Doctor wine is a premium offering from the renowned South African winery. Named after the fierce winds that blow through the Cape Winelands, this wine is a true reflection of its terroir. Crafted from carefully selected grapes grown in the cool climate vineyards of Stellenbosch, this blend showcases the best of the region's varietals. The result is a complex and elegant wine with notes of dark fruit, spice, and a hint of smokiness. With its velvety texture and well-integrated tannins, Journey's End Cape Doctor is the perfect companion for a special occasion or a quiet evening at home.

About the Winery

Journey's End

Located in the premium wine producing area of Stellenbosch in South Africa, the Journey’s End winery was established in 1995 by the Gabbs Family. The family acquired the estate and the 20 hectares of vineyards during this time to make high-quality, terroir-driven wines. Today, in less than three decades, the family owns close to 12o hectares of land.
