Product Notes

Kayra Buzbağ Öküzgözü Boğazkere is a rich and bold Turkish red wine that offers a unique taste experience. Made from the Öküzgözü and Boğazkere grape varieties grown in the Anatolian region of Turkey, this wine boasts fruity and spicy notes that blend seamlessly together. On the nose, aromas of blackberries, black currants, and plums are complemented by hints of pepper and clove. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and intense, with flavors of dark fruit, vanilla, and chocolate. The tannins are firm but not overpowering, giving the wine a satisfyingly long finish. Enjoy this wine with grilled meats or hearty stews for a truly authentic Turkish dining experience.

Tasting Notes

Öküzgözü and Boğazkere complement one another beautifully and the harmony of this blend truly reflects the nature of Eastern Anatolia. Öküzgözü, with its dark skinned grapes and generous acidity pairs with Boğazkere and its intense tannins, fruit driven and spicy character. This is a well balanced wine, with cherry and red fruit flavours in an easy drinking style.
