Tasting Note

Opening with vibrant aromas of red and purple raspberries, the alluring nose leads to aromas of sour cherry and a slightly smoky quality. Building with intense red berry and cherry characters, the palate flows seamlessly with a long savoury line. The finish is focused, with fine-grain tannins offering support. Accessible now, it will provide a great return with mid-term cellaring.

Product Notes

Kooyong Meres Pinot Noir is a premium Australian wine that is crafted in the Mornington Peninsula wine region of Victoria. The winery employs biodynamic principles in the production of their wines, which contributes to the unique character and expression of their wines. This Pinot Noir has a complex bouquet of fragrant red cherries, cranberries, and spice, with subtle hints of savory earthiness. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with velvety tannins and a long, elegant finish. It has great aging potential and can be enjoyed with a range of food pairings, such as roasted poultry, pork or game meats. The Kooyong Meres Pinot Noir is a wine that encapsulates the beauty and finesse of Australian winemaking.
