Product Notes

Kosta Browne One-Sixteen Russian River Valley Chardonnay is a luxurious and sophisticated white wine that showcases the impeccable terroir of the Russian River Valley. This elegant wine exudes aromas of ripe pear, honeydew melon, and toasted hazelnuts, complemented by hints of vanilla and baking spices. On the palate, flavors of citrus zest, green apple, and crème brûlée mingle seamlessly, leading to a long and satisfying finish. The wine is aged in French oak barrels, adding layers of complexity and a creamy texture. This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes, from creamy pasta to grilled seafood.

About the Winery

Kosta Browne

Kosta Browne Winery is one of California’s most celebrated Pinot Noir producers, based in Sebastopol in Sonoma County and renowned for its single-vineyard wines. The winery was founded in 1997 by Dan Kosta and Michael Browne, who began by pooling their restaurant tip money to purchase Pinot Noir grapes and produce a tiny inaugural vintage using second-hand equipment and a single oak barrel.
