On the palate it is a refreshing combination of crunchy refreshing acidity, bright fruit flavours with some darker ripe flavours with some undertones of savoury complexity. Light tannins hold this wine all together resulting in a wine that is both immediately appealing whilst being serious enough for the wine buffs out there. Easily one of the best New Zealand Gamays in any market.
