Product Notes

Le Clos du Caillou Côtes du Rhône Le Bouquet des Garrigues is a bright, ruby-red wine that boasts of intense aromas of blackberry, black cherry and spice. This wine is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, and Mourvèdre grapes grown in the southern Rhône Valley, which is renowned for producing some of the world's finest wines. The powerful fruit flavor of this wine is complemented by soft tannins, creating a harmonious balance that makes it versatile enough to pair with a wide variety of cuisines, especially roasted meats and hearty stews. This wine has a long, smooth finish and is a great choice for anyone looking for a quality Côtes du Rhône wine.

About the Winery

Le Clos du Caillou

Le Clos du Caillou, the French wine brand, was established in 1895 by Elie Dussaud. When the old cellar was created this early, it led to a lot of political turmoil. As a result, Le Clos du Caillou was excluded from the Appellation of Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Until 1955, this land was nothing but a hunting reserve. It was only in this year that the woods were cleared because Paul Poulzin realised the vine-value of the land beneath the woods.
