Tasting Note

A perfect introduction to the delights and complexity of real white Burgundy, this is mainly Côte d'Or fruit together with some Mâconnais. Fresh with lovely weight, delicate creaminess and judicious oak making this a beautifully balanced dry white.

Product Notes

Louis Jadot Bourgogne Chardonnay ‘Couvent des Jacobins’ is an elegant and medium-bodied wine that epitomizes the rich and buttery flavour of Chardonnay. Made from grapes grown in the renowned vineyards of Burgundy, this wine has a pale yellow colour with hints of aromatic fruit aromas, including apple, pear, and citrus zest. On the palate, it is soft and creamy, with notes of vanilla and toasted oak. The wine has a complex structure and finishes with a hint of minerality. This wine pairs perfectly with creamy pasta dishes like Alfredo, salmon, and poultry like roasted chicken, making it an ideal wine for any meal or occasion.
