Tasting Note

Classic aromas of wild berries, ripe black fruit, bay leaf and mint, plus the characteristic notes of forest floor and clove from this special vineyard. The palate is fleshy and voluptuous, with firm and well-integrated tannins that promise a long life; this wine will continue to develop for at least 10-15 years.

Product Notes

Marimar Estate Mas Cavalls Pinot Noir is an elegant and complex wine that provides a delightful sensory experience. The grapes are grown in the Mas Cavalls vineyard, located in the heart of the Sonoma Coast, California. The wine has a deep ruby color with a nose of ripe black cherry, raspberry, and spice, followed by hints of leather, earth, and mushroom. On the palate, it is full-bodied with firm, silky tannins and a long, lingering finish. The richness and complexity of this Pinot Noir make it the perfect pairing for roasted meats, mushroom dishes, and aged cheeses. Overall, Marimar Estate Mas Cavalls Pinot Noir is a sophisticated wine with a wonderful balance of fruit, earth, and mineral flavors.

About the Winery

Marimar Estate

Marimar Torres, one of the prestigious winemaking families in the world, wanted to set up its legacy in California. The search for the perfect location ended in the Russian River Valley appellation, also known as the Green Valley appellation, located in the southern part of Sonoma County. Since this plot is located at a distance of just 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean, this plot is blessed with a cool climate all through the year. Therefore, the climatic conditions are ideal for growing some of the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varietals in California.
