Tasting Note

Expressive aromas of juicy blackberry, boysenberry, and spices come together with notes of toasty vanilla and graham cracker. A plush, velvety mouthfeel highlights the full flavors, leading to a long finish. The wines are carefully crafted so that these characteristics continue to enhance and build on each other for an evocative and memorable Cabernet Sauvignon.

Product Notes

Meiomi Cabernet Sauvignon is a luxurious red wine that beautifully captures the essence of California's Central Coast. With its rich and velvety texture, this wine is bursting with flavors of ripe blackberries, cassis, and hints of vanilla. The perfectly balanced tannins and acidity create a smooth and elegant finish that lingers on the palate. This Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from a blend of grapes grown in prime vineyard sites, resulting in a complex and layered wine that showcases the best of the region. Meiomi Cabernet Sauvignon is the perfect choice for special occasions or simply enjoying a glass at the end of a long day.

About the Winery

Meiomi

Meiomi is one of California’s most successful modern wine brands, created in 2006 by fifth-generation winemaker Joe Wagner, a member of the renowned Wagner family behind Caymus Vineyards. The name “Meiomi,” meaning “coast” in the Wappo language, reflects the brand’s philosophy of sourcing fruit from California’s premier coastal wine regions—Sonoma, Monterey and Santa Barbara—to create consistently rich, balanced wines. Wagner built the brand around a distinctive multi-appellation Pinot Noir, which quickly became America’s best-selling Pinot Noir. In 2015, the brand was sold to Constellation Brands for US$315 million, and in 2025 ownership transferred to The Wine Group, where it remains today.
