Product Notes

Roagna Barolo La Pira is a luxurious red wine that hails from the esteemed Barolo region of Piedmont, Italy. This rich and full-bodied wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes that have been meticulously hand-harvested and aged in large oak barrels for at least three years. The result is a complex and elegant wine with layers of dark fruit, spice, and earthy notes. Roagna Barolo La Pira is known for its stunning aromatics, firm tannins, and long, lingering finish. This wine is perfect for special occasions or for those looking to indulge in a truly exceptional Italian wine experience.

About the Winery

Roagna

In the early 20th century, Vincenzo Roagna established the Roagna Wine Estate in Italy's historic Barbaresco region. However, today, this brand has its presence across other regions of Italy as well. The ownership kept passing on to the successors of Roagna. Currently, Lucy Roagna, the fifth generation Roagna family member runs the estate. The wines produced here are not only deep and complex, but rich and classy as well. It can be attributed to the perfect blend of classic and modern winemaking styles followed at the winery here.
