Tasting Note

Brothers shows more depth of character every year. Its brooding aromas of sandalwood, dried tobacco, black currant, and blackberries draw you in. The wine is deep and textured on the palate, with savory, meaty body mingling with plumy cherry. Lingering, long and full, it finishes with lightly dry tannins

Product Notes

Snowden Vineyards Brothers Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a premium red wine that displays the unique characteristics of the Napa Valley region. This wine is crafted from grapes grown on the Brother's Vineyard, which uses sustainable farming practices to create grapes that are rich and complex in flavor. Each glass of this Cabernet Sauvignon is filled with aromas of black cherries, dark chocolate, and vanilla, followed by bold flavors of blackberries, cherry, and blackcurrants. The tannins are well-structured and provide a long finish that is smooth and satisfying. This wine is a perfect match for grilled meats, hearty stews, and mature cheeses.

About the Winery

Snowden Vineyards

The history of Snowden Vineyards dates back to 1878. At that time, Levi Philander Davis and his wife filed for a 160-acre piece of land under the Homestead Act of 1862. It allowed them to acquire the parcel and plant their first grapevines on the plot in 1878. By 1880, the couple had cleared and prepared 75 acres of orchards of vineyards. After Levi passed away in 1881, his wife, Lucretia, handed over the ownership and privilege of the land to Melchior Kemper. The latter continued to follow the former proprietors and plant vineyards in the cleared areas. BY 1891, he developed 60 acres of parcels that produced Malvoisie, Chasselas, and Zinfandel.
