Tasting Note

Delicious Sauvignon Blanc, all lemons and butter, from this legendary Napa Valley winery: a mouthful of mango, blackcurrant and gooseberry, with a citrus bouquet enhanced by a hint of herb.

Product Notes

Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Aveta Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, refreshing white wine that showcases the unique terroir of California's Napa Valley. The wine is named after the Roman goddess of the morning dew, Aveta, and reflects the freshness and vitality of this early morning dew. The nose is bright and lively, with aromas of citrus, peach, and tropical fruits, followed by a clean and refreshing palate that bursts with flavors of grapefruit, guava, and passionfruit. The wine has a beautiful mineral acidity that carries through to a long, persistent finish. This wine is perfect for sipping on a warm summer day or pairing with light salads and seafood dishes.

About the Winery

Stag's Leap Wine Cellars

Located in the Stags Leap district of Napa Valley in California, the Stags Leap Wine Cellar was established during 197o by William Winiarski. It was during this year that Winiarski purchased 44 hectares of land for cultivating vines on it.  The results were great because the vines represented the unique regional flavour and character of the Napa Valley soil.
