Thelema Rabelais is a premium South African wine that is named after the 16th-century French writer, Francois Rabelais. This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc grapes, carefully selected from the finest vineyards in the Stellenbosch region. Thelema Rabelais is known for its rich and complex flavors, with notes of dark fruit, spice, and a hint of oak. This wine has a full-bodied palate with silky tannins and a long, elegant finish. It is the perfect accompaniment to a hearty meal or enjoyed on its own as a special treat.

About the Winery

Thelema

The family-owned Thelema Mountain Vineyards are located in the highly wine-rich area of Stellenbosch in South Africa. Thelema wines and Sutherland wines are created from the grapes produced at these vineyards. The Thelema vineyards are located towards the south east of Simonsberg Mountain at an altitude of about 530m above sea level. This altitude enables in growing high quality and premium grapes.
