Tasting Note

A lifted aromatic of darker red and purple fresh fruits such as red cherry, wild blueberry and black currants balanced with savoury aromas from Mourvèdre, such as wet earth, gamey forest floor, garrigue, wild thyme and star anise. The palate is medium bodied with soft tannins and long acidity. A wine to match with versatile foods with spice or game-like flavours. Serve at 16C and enjoy as a young wine.

Product Notes

Torbreck Old Vines GSM wine is a luxurious and complex blend that showcases the best of the Barossa Valley in South Australia. Made from Grenache, Shiraz, and Mourvèdre grapes sourced from some of the region's oldest and most revered vineyards, this wine exudes richness and depth. The Grenache brings vibrant red berry flavors, while the Shiraz adds a touch of spice and dark fruit. The Mourvèdre contributes a velvety texture and earthy notes to the palate. With balanced acidity and fine tannins, this wine is perfect for pairing with roasted meats or hearty stews. Torbreck Old Vines GSM is a true standout in the world of Australian wines.
