Our Cuvée Anne Chardonnay is a barrel selection from our best Chardonnay sites Justice, Koosah, Seven Springs, Sojeau and X Novo Vineyards. It is a blend that represents our vision of Willamette Valley Chardonnay through the lens of the Eola-Amity Hills. This wine boasts clarity and precision, leading with savory aromas of mandarine zest, yellow & white peach, layered with floral notes of honeysuckle, lemon myrtle, orange blossom, and a hint of oyster shell. The palate is intricately layered with freshness at the forefront, followed by a focused acidity.

Walter Scott Cuvée Anne Chardonnay is an elegant and graceful wine that offers an excellent balance of flavour and texture. It is named after the winery's co-founder, and is crafted from a careful selection of fruit from three distinct vineyards in the Willamette Valley. This wine shows a light golden colour and delivers delicate aromas of green apple, honey, and lemon zest. On the palate, it is crisp and refreshing with a subtle hint of oak and a smooth finish. It is a perfect accompaniment to seafood dishes, creamy pasta, and roasted chicken. Overall, this award-winning wine is a must-try for any Chardonnay enthusiast.

About the Winery

Walter Scott

Walter Scott started as a joint venture of the couple, Ken Pahlow and Erica Landon. They established the winery in Willamette Valley of Oregon in 2008, marking the launch and initiation of their dreams. The concept of a unique label had resided within Ken for years before the founding of Walter Scott. However, he could not realise it until Erica convinced him to chase his aspirations. In 2008 spring, the wife and husband team emptied their insubstantial retirement accounts. They used the money as funds to establish the winery and grow it today’s level.
