Warwick Estate Cabernet Franc is a highly acclaimed red wine that hails from the Stellenbosch region of South Africa. This wine is made from 100% Cabernet Franc grapes that have been carefully handpicked and sorted before being fermented and aged in French oak barrels for 22 months. The resulting wine boasts a deep ruby color and rich aromas of dark fruits, black pepper, and hints of tobacco. On the palate, Warwick Estate Cabernet Franc is full-bodied and luscious, with flavors of blackberry, cassis, and vanilla. This wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for several years to come, making it a perfect complement to any special occasion or fine dining experience.

About the Winery

Warwick Estate

In 1771, the Warwick Estate was established in the great wine region of Stellenbosch in South Africa. However, the estate came to be known internationally for its winemaking potential only during 1964. During this time Stan and Norma Radcliffe purchased the estate and started planting international and Bordeaux-style of vines here, such as, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
