Tasting Note

Showing a vibrant purple color, this Syrah has rich aromas of bittersweet chocolate and roasted coffee that continue in the mouth with black cherry and coffee bean flavors. Aggressive tannins lead to a wine that is full bodied with a lingering fruit finish.

Product Notes

Wente Vineyards Nth Degree Syrah is a red wine made from 100% Syrah grapes grown in the Livermore Valley in California. This wine is part of Wente Vineyards' premium Nth Degree label, which showcases the best grapes and production techniques. The Syrah grapes are carefully selected and hand-picked, expressing the best of terroir and vineyard management. The wine is aged for 20 months in French oak barrels, resulting in a rich, full-bodied wine with aromas of dark fruit, spice, and vanilla. On the palate, this Syrah reveals a complex flavor profile of blackberry, black cherry, pepper, and cloves, balanced with a smooth tannin structure. Enjoy this wine with grilled meats, hearty stews, or aged cheeses.
