Tasting Note

Elegant Chardonnay from Argentina, tangy with green apples and citrus but warmed by the scent of toasted nuts and brioche.

Product Notes

Trapiche Costa & Pampa Chardonnay is a premium white wine from Argentina's famed Trapiche Winery. This varietal is sourced from two of Argentina's top viticultural regions, Costa and Pampa. The wine has a light golden color and boasts a delicate and aromatic bouquet of tropical fruits, citrus, and vanilla. On the palate, it exhibits flavors of fresh apricots, pineapple, and honey, along with a touch of oak and toasted nuts. The wine is well balanced with a crisp acidity that adds to its refreshing and long finish. This Chardonnay can perfectly accompany seafood, poultry, salads, and pasta dishes. An excellent wine for everyday drinking, it's a testament to Argentina's thriving wine industry.

About the Winery

Trapiche

Trapiche, located in the extremely wine-rich region of Mendoza in Argentina, is a winery that was set up during 1883. This area comprises of over 1000 hectares and it is not surprising to know that this winery is the largest wine producer in Argentina. When Tiburcio Benegas bought the Trapiche winery during the 1880s, it was only a very small vineyard. Today, the place, owned by Grupo Penaflor, encompasses many vineyards from the Mendoza region.
