Tasting Note

Intense dark cherry color. Expressive aromas with notes of torrefaction and redcurrrant jam as well as touches of tobacco, juniper, and lactic overtones. On the palate it is characterized by its fullness: robust tannins, retronasal aromas of licorice and spices with a long and elegant finish

Product Notes

Miguel Torres Cordillera Syrah is a dry red wine from Chile known for its bold and rich flavors. The wine is made from 100% Syrah grapes grown in the Andes Mountains region, which gives the wine its unique character and complexity. The wine has a deep ruby hue and aroma of black fruit, spices, and hints of vanilla. Its taste is intense, with flavors of dark berries, chocolate, and smoky oak. The tannins are firm but well-balanced and complement the wine's long, lingering finish. Miguel Torres Cordillera Syrah pairs well with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, and hearty stews. It's a perfect wine for a special occasion or a relaxing evening at home.

About the Winery

Miguel Torres

Miguel Torres, a family-owned wine estate in Chile, has been in business for 30 years. Established in 1979, this company has been producing wines with utmost respect for the environment and terroirs where its grapes are grown. Miguel Torres was originally from Spain, but when he arrived at the Curico Valley in Chile in 1979, he knew that he had to start his winemaking business from there, because of the excellent soil quality and climate conditions of the location.
