Tasting Note

Intense aromas of berry fruit and spices on the nose. Rich, tannic and well structured, this wine develops additional roundness after a few years in bottle. Good ageing potential.

Product Notes

Domaine Bouchard Père & Fils Nuits-Saint-Georges is a well-known French wine producer located in the heart of Burgundy. The estate has been producing wines for over 300 years, and their Nuits-Saint-Georges is one of their most popular and highly sought after wines. This wine is made from a blend of Pinot Noir grapes grown in the villages of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Premeaux-Prissey, and Corgoloin. The wine itself is a deep ruby red color with a complex nose of dark fruit, spices, and earthy notes. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with flavors of black cherry, blackberry, and truffle, with a long, elegant finish. This wine is a perfect pairing with meat dishes and strong cheeses. Overall, Domaine Bouchard Père & Fils Nuits-Saint-Georges is an exceptional wine that showcases the unique terroir of Burgundy and the expertise of the Bouchard family.

About the Winery

Domaine Bouchard Père & Fils

Joseph Bouchard understood the potential of Burgundy, one of the premium wine-growing regions of France during the middle of the 18th century. This is one reason why he didn’t think twice when he heard of a wine estate on sale in this region in 1773. Since then, he acquired this particular wine estate in Volnay village and has been making symbolic wines under his label.
