Tasting Note

A smoky nose with soft black fruits and wild strawberries on the nose. The palate is restrained and focused, with firm tannins giving the wine structure and backbone. The finish is savoury with subtle toasty notes, which linger on the finish.

Product Notes

Domaine Tollot-Beaut is a family-owned winery located in the Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy, France. Their Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru Les Fournières is a standout wine that showcases the unique terroir of the region. This wine is made from Pinot Noir grapes grown in a premier cru vineyard known for its limestone and clay soils. The result is a wine that is elegant, complex, and full-bodied, with notes of red fruit, spices, and earth. It has a long, smooth finish and can be enjoyed now or aged for several years. This is a must-try wine for any Burgundy lover.

About the Winery

Domaine Tollot-Beaut

Established in 1880 in the ancient and the heritage-rich French town of Chorey-Les-Beaune, the Domaine Tollot Beaut is a family-owned wine estate. It was established by Francois Tollot, and is currently managed by the fifth generation of the Tollot family members. When this company began the process of bottling wines in 1921, it became one of the first companies in the Cote’d’Or regions to do so.
