Tasting Note

A very typical wine, representative of its terroir. A bright golden hue, with a greenish touch. Very fine aromas of white flowers (honeysuckle) and ripe fruit (yellow plums), evolving towards honey and gingerbread. On the palate, straightforward and lively at first, then richness and roundness. This wine dispalys a mineral "pebbly" ("caillou") quality is the hallmark of Saint-Romain.

On the nose, it’s full of aromas of ripe fruit, such as citrus and apple, as well as floral notes of acacia and honey. The taste is complex yet elegant with a balance of acidity and minerality that provides a long and satisfying finish. This wine is best enjoyed with seafood, chicken, or light pasta dishes, and it pairs well with creamy sauces and cheeses.
