Product Notes

Les Bottes Rouges Arbois La Pépée Pinot Noir is a sophisticated and elegant wine that truly embodies the essence of the Arbois region in Jura, France. With its deep red color and inviting aromas of red berries, cherry, and subtle earthy notes, this Pinot Noir is a true delight for the senses. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced with velvety tannins and a smooth finish. Its complex flavor profile includes hints of spice, vanilla, and a touch of minerality, making it a perfect complement to a variety of dishes. This wine is a must-try for any lover of fine French wines.

About the Winery

Les Bottes Rouges is a highly regarded organic and low-intervention winery in the Jura, based in Abergement-le-Petit, just outside Arbois. The domaine was founded by Jean-Baptiste Ménigoz, who originally worked as a schoolteacher before becoming increasingly fascinated by wine. After spending years working in vineyards alongside local vignerons, he trained with Jura benchmark producer Stéphane Tissot and established Les Bottes Rouges in 2012. The domaine takes its name from a song by French rock band Les Wampas, reflecting Ménigoz's independent, unconventional spirit.
