Product Notes

Dreissigacker Vintages Riesling wine is a superb example of a premium German Riesling. Made from carefully selected grapes grown in the esteemed vineyards of the Rheinhessen region, this wine showcases the true essence of traditional winemaking techniques combined with modern innovation. The wine boasts a vibrant golden hue and exudes a bouquet of fresh citrus fruits, floral aromas, and subtle mineral notes. On the palate, it delivers a harmonious balance of crisp acidity, ripe peach, and honeyed tones with a long, lingering finish. This Riesling is perfect for pairing with a variety of dishes, from spicy Asian cuisine to light seafood dishes. Overall, Dreissigacker Vintages Riesling is a must-try for any wine enthusiast looking for a high-quality, elegant German white wine experience.

About the Winery

Dreissigacker

Jochen Dreissigacker farms 45 hectares of certified organic vineyards in the Rheinhessen, over half of which are planted with Riesling. Jochen describes organic winemaking as “the artisan path to purity” and has also implemented biodynamic principles to create optimal conditions for his grapes to thrive. Focussing on improving vineyard practices is, as Jochen explains, “a long-term investment in nature and wines”. This extends further to reducing yields in the vineyard by creating healthier soils that reduce vine vigour. “The path to any truly great wine is to limit the number of grapes that are allowed to ripen,” says Jochen.
