Tasting Note

Deep ruby red with inky purple stripes. The bouquet reveals flavors of dark plum, blackberry nectar and aromatic herbs, complicated by coffee and cocoa. At once dense but fresh, with noble and powerful tannins, finishes long and clean, with lovely lingering violet perfume. The final is long and clean with mineral notes exalting its vivacity, power and clearness

Product Notes

Fattoria La Valentina's Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 'Bellovedere' is a luscious red wine that flawlessly captures the rich characteristics of the Montepulciano grape varietal. With a deep, ruby color and fragrant aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and plum, this wine is truly captivating. On the palate, it delivers a complex and well-structured flavor profile, with notes of leather, vanilla, and spice complementing the fruit flavors. The tannins are firm yet silky, providing a pleasantly long finish. Best paired with bold and hearty dishes such as grilled lamb, roasted beef, or aged cheeses, this wine is an indulgent treat for any occasion.

About the Winery

Fattoria La Valentina

Located in Pescara in the central part of Italy, the La Valentina Estate overlooks the beautiful Spoltore. Sabatino and Roberto e Andrea Di Properzio established this estate in 1994. The owners were quite passionate about winemaking, and they learnt a lot through their experience working in the Saint Teresa Vineyards nearby.
