Tasting Note

The wine is a deep amber in color with golden highlights. On the nose, the sweet notes of dried fruit, hazelnuts, chestnuts and honey are enriched by additional aromas of honey. The palate is full-bodied, honeyed, and invigorated by a vibrant vein of acidity.

Product Notes

Antinori Marchese Antinori Vinsanto del Chianti Classico is an exceptional Italian dessert wine produced by Marchesi Antinori winery in Tuscany, Italy. This Vinsanto is made from 100% Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia Bianca grapes, which are hand-harvested and dried on straw mats for several months before being fermented and aged for three to five years in small oak barrels. The result is a rich and complex wine with aromas of honey, dried apricots, and candied orange peel. On the palate, it is full-bodied and sweet, with flavors of toffee, caramel, and roasted nuts, followed by a long and persistent finish. This is a wine that pairs perfectly with a variety of desserts, such as almond cake or fruit tarts, and is best enjoyed with good company.

About the Winery

Antinori

The story and endeavour of Antinori began and continues over and with twenty-six generations of the Antinori family. The family has remained engaged in developing and producing high-standard and quality wines since 1385. The idea and process of Antinori’s establishment started when a member of the Antinori family, Giovanni di Piero Antinori, became a part of Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri. At that time, it was the Winemaker’s Guild in Florence.
