Tasting Note

This broody, dense Pinot Noir has heady aromas of coffee beans, dried herbs, and freshly picked black cherries. On the palate, the smooth rounded cocoa tannins are balanced by the youthful acidity and subtle hints of toasty oak.

Product Notes

Villa Maria Attorney Organic Pinot Noir is a premium wine made from 100% organic Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the estate vineyard in Marlborough, New Zealand. It has a bright and vivid cherry-red color with fragrant aromas of red cherries, raspberries, and subtle hints of spice and vanilla. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, with a perfect balance of fruitiness and acidity. The tannins are soft and velvety, providing a delicate finish. This wine is best served slightly chilled and pairs well with pork, salmon, and duck dishes. Its organic certification ensures that it is produced sustainably, making it a wine that you can enjoy with a clear conscience.

About the Winery

Villa Maria

Villa Maria is New Zealand’s most popular and most awarded winery today. George Fistonich was only 21 years old when he started this wine label. He got 5 acres of land in Mangere, Auckland, from his father, and set about to give wings to his winemaking passion. The very next year, he made his first wine from the grapes planted on this land, and he named the wine, Villa Maria.
