Tasting Note

Made from Palomino grapes, mainly from the Miraflores estate: one of Sanlúcar's most prestigious. Ageing and development is carried out in the coastal town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, here the flor in the solara grows more quickly in the humid conditions, developing the flavours of this Fino Sherry into the town’s unique style. This Manzanilla has a pronounced freshness and saline savouriness, perfect as an aperetif with almonds and cured ham.

Product Notes

La Guita En Rama Manzanilla wine is a special limited edition release that showcases the rich and vibrant flavors of traditional Manzanilla sherry. This unique wine is made from the Palomino grape variety in the coastal town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Spain. The wine is aged in oak barrels under a layer of flor yeast, giving it a distinctive saline and nutty character. La Guita En Rama is unfiltered and bottled directly from the cask, preserving its fresh and lively essence. With notes of green apple, almonds, and sea salt, this wine is a perfect pairing for seafood dishes or enjoyed on its own as a refreshing aperitif.

About the Winery

La Guita

The history of the Spanish winery of La Guita dates back to as early as 1852. Domingo Perez Marin founded this winery during this year in the small town of Sanlucar de Barrameda in Spain. During that time, this winery was established in Bodegas Hijos de Rainera Perez Marin. Guita, in the old Andalusian accent, refers to cash.
