Adega Algueira Pizarra Ribeira Sacra is a stunning red wine from the heart of Galicia, Spain. Made from Mencía grapes grown on steep slate slopes overlooking the Sil River, this wine is a true reflection of the unique terroir of Ribeira Sacra. The Pizarra vineyard's mineral-rich soil imparts a pronounced minerality to the wine, while the cool climate and Atlantic influence result in vibrant acidity and fresh, lively fruit flavors. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, the wine also displays elegant notes of spice and oak. Complex, balanced, and full of character, Adega Algueira Pizarra is a true gem of Spanish winemaking.
