Its vibrant and pale yellow color is indicative of its light and fresh flavor profile. This wine is made from hand-picked Chardonnay grapes that are fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the natural fruit flavors and aromas. On the nose, aromas of green apple, lime, and pear are evident, while on the palate, flavors of citrus, pineapple, and stone fruit dominate. Glenelly Glass Collection Unoaked Chardonnay is a delightful and easy-drinking wine that pairs perfectly with seafood dishes, salads, or enjoyed on its own.

About the Winery

Glenelly

The history of Glenelly dates back to 1783. It was when the first wine with its stamp got released in the market. Located on Simonsberg’s southern slopes in Stellenbosch, the winery’s records start under the ownership and leadership of May-Eliane de Lencquesaing. She realised and recognised the immense potential that the land held and focused all her energy and efforts on developing the estate and its vineyards. After overseeing and managing exhaustive studies on the property and the weather conditions, the founder planted several grape varieties. They consisted of Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Chardonnay.
