Tasting Note

The 2019 Beaujolais Villages is a masterclass in balance. An attractive deep ruby in the glass, the nose boasts bright aromas of crunchy red fruits and violets. On the palate, the wine has a superb structure, with grainy tannins, concentrated red fruit flavours and excellent acidity lifting the finish.

Product Notes

Jean-Marc Burgaud Beaujolais Villages Les Vignes de Lantignie is a red wine that is made using 100% Gamay grapes, harvested from vines in the heart of Beaujolais, France. The wine has a bright ruby red color and boasts a medium-bodied texture with an aromatic profile of red fruits, florals, and spices. On the palate, one can detect flavors of raspberry, cherry, and blackcurrant, with a subtle hint of pepper. The tannins are well integrated and lead to an elegant, long-lasting finish. Overall, the Jean-Marc Burgaud Beaujolais Villages Les Vignes de Lantignie is a beautiful representation of Beaujolais winemaking.
