Tasting Note

A singular, honeyed, lush, exotic white wine with beeswax and orange marmalade notes. Medium-bodied and dry with minerality, this fruit cocktail-styled wine should be enjoyed fresh while it is young.

Product Notes

Domaine Lafage Cote Est Blanc is a French white wine made from a blend of Grenache Blanc, Chardonnay and Roussanne grapes. It is a beautifully balanced and aromatic wine with a hint of citrus and tropical fruits on the nose. On the palate it reveals flavours of ripe pineapple, green apple, white peach and a subtle floral note. It has a crisp acidity and a lengthy, satisfying finish. Cote Est Blanc is a versatile wine that pairs perfectly with shellfish, seafood, goat cheese and light meats. Enjoy it chilled as an aperitif or as the perfect accompaniment to any meal.

About the Winery

Domaine Lafage

Located in Perpignan, France, the Domaine Lafage Wine brand was set up by Jean-Marc and Eliane Lafage. Their premium wines are made from grapes cultivated across 160 hectares of vineyards located near the Mediterranean Sea and the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains. The warm, dry climate of these vineyards plays a very important role in the full-flavoured quality of the grapes. The climate, soil quality and the passion of the passion of the farmers make this region a haven for growing grape varietals such as Chardonnay, Grenache, Rousanne, Marsanne, Syrah, Mourvedre and Carignan.
