This wine is made entirely from the Grüner Veltliner grape, which is known for its crisp acidity and fresh herbaceous notes. The Loimer Kamptal Grüner Veltiner has a bright, pale yellow color and aromas of lime, green apple, and white pepper, with a hint of mineral and salinity. On the palate, it is zesty and refreshing with a lively texture and flavors of citrus, peach, and a touch of spice. This wine pairs well with seafood and light chicken dishes, as well as summer salads and vegetarian fare.

About the Winery

Loimer

Loimer Wines is one of the reputed wines of Austria, all thanks to one name – Fred Loimer. He was quite passionate about winemaking and went on to get practical experience with vines and wines in Nahe, Germany and Carneros, California. After gaining enough experience, he returned to his native in Langenlois in Austria to set up his brand. There has been no turning back, ever since.
