Product Notes

Fontanafredda Asti is a semi-sweet, sparkling wine that hails from the Piedmont region of Italy. Made from the Moscato Bianco grape, it boasts fragrant aromas of ripe peach, apricot, and orange blossom. With its light and crisp body, Fontanafredda Asti is a popular choice for celebratory occasions and pairs well with desserts, fresh fruit, and cheese plates. Its natural sweetness is balanced by a refreshing acidity, making it a perfect summer sipper. Fontanafredda Asti is a delightful way to add a touch of sparkling sophistication to any gathering or meal, and its low alcohol content makes it ideal for sipping on warm afternoons or balmy evenings.

About the Winery

Fontanafredda

If there is one Italian wine label with a rich, royal history, it has got to be Fontanafredda. Started by the first King of Italy in 1858, Fontanafredda, is one of the richest and authentic Italian wine labels today. Vittorio Emanuele II purchased the Fontanafredda wine estate, and dedicated the same to his children, who were the Count of Fontanafredda and Mirafore. Within 8 years of buying the estate, the King bought his first Barola vineyard.
