Tasting Note

Bright ruby red colour with violet hues. On the nose, aromas of red fruits, tobacco, cherries and a soft spicy note, along with dill and peppermint, are all framed by elegant notes of nuts, chocolate and cloves. The palate delivers sour cherry, raspberry and a fresh blueberry note, followed by chocolate and nutmeg. Round, juicy and full, with refreshing acidity, and delightfully soft edges that give a pleasant and long finish.

Product Notes

Errazuriz Max Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied red wine hailing from the Aconcagua Valley in Chile. Made exclusively from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape, this wine is aged for a minimum of 12 months in French oak barrels before being bottled. It boasts a deep ruby color and exudes aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and cedar on the nose. The palate is filled with flavors of dark fruit, vanilla, and chocolate with a hint of spice and a long, smooth finish. This wine pairs perfectly with hearty meat dishes, particularly grilled steak or venison. It can also be enjoyed on its own as a luxurious and indulgent treat.

About the Winery

Errazuriz

When you make a list of some of the best Chilean wines, Errazuriz is sure to feature in it. Founded in 1870, this wine label has been making wines that are true to the terroir found in the place of its origin – Aconcagua Valley in Chile. Don Maximiano Errazuriz, the founder of this label planted the first French vines in this region to make innovative and stylish Chilean wines. Today, his descendants have made Errazuriz one of the most sought-after Chilean wines.
