Product Notes

Chêne Bleu Heloise is a rich and complex wine that comes from the world-renowned Rhône Valley region in France. This vibrant red wine is made from a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre grapes, which are carefully selected from the winery's organic vineyards. The wine is named after the winery's founder, Heloise de Tavenaux, who is a passionate believer in biodynamic farming methods that promote a sustainable and natural environment. Chêne Bleu Heloise has a deep and intense color with an elegant bouquet of blackcurrants, cherries, and spices. On the palate, it is dense and flavorful, with a long finish that reveals notes of vanilla and mocha. This wine is perfect for special occasions or enjoying with a delicious meal.

About the Winery

Chêne Bleu

The history of Chêne Bleu begins back in the 19th century. The winery consisted solely of vineyards planted on the Dentelles de Montmirail slopes and the main building. The earliest records of Chêne Bleu in the form of written archives indicate 1026. During those times, the land got used as a farming priory. It functioned and operated while depending on the proximate Abbaye de Prebayon.
