Tasting Note

This Shiraz has a powerful nose, spiced with pepper and mineral elements. The co-fermented Viognier adds richness and perfume to both the nose and palate. Intense dark fruit and earthy long tannins on the palate complete the delicate structure and overall elegance of the wine.

Product Notes

By Farr Shiraz is a premium Australian red wine that's richly flavored, full-bodied and incredibly refined. It's made using hand-picked Shiraz grapes that are grown on the By Farr vineyard in the heart of the Geelong region in Victoria. The wine has a deep crimson hue with aromas of blackberry, spice, and dried herbs. The palate showcases dark, savory flavors of black cherry, plum, and vanilla, with a touch of chocolate and oak. The tannins are firm and grippy, offering a satisfyingly long and complex finish. This wine is perfect for pairing with grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses. By Farr Shiraz is a must-try for any serious wine lover.

The place is blessed with a continental climate and volcanic soil quality. Due to this, the grapes produced here of premium quality with intense flavour and rich colour. In 1994, the estate was purchased by Gary and Robyn Farr. Four years later, they purchased some more land.
