Tasting Note

Sappheiros is our brut rosé which displays a light robe with salmon hue. The intense cherry aromas combine with floral notes of roses and peonies to create a powerful nose. The mouth is rich and chirpy, with the fresh fruit notes balanced out by a subtle bitterness on the last mouthfeel. Sappheiros is not just pink, it displays a real personality, a festive yet rooted cuvée.

Product Notes

Champagne Jean-Paul Deville Sappheiros Rose is a delicate and elegant champagne crafted in the heart of the Champagne region in France. This sparkling rosé is made from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grape varietals, carefully selected and pressed to create a light pink hue with a fine, persistent mousse. On the nose, aromas of wild strawberries and raspberries are complemented by subtle floral notes. The palate is refreshing and vibrant, with crisp acidity and flavors of red fruits and citrus. This champagne is perfect for any special occasion or celebration, and pairs beautifully with delicate seafood dishes or light desserts.

About the Winery

Champagne Jean-Paul Deville

The Deville Family had been in control of their vineyards for over five generations, but it was only in 1966, the family decided to create its own and unique blend of Champagne, which set it apart from the other types of Champagne, created in France. This was the time when Jean-Paul Deville was only 23. He, along with his father, took complete control of the vineyards and winemaking process to craft creative Champagne that spoke volumes about the terroirs.
