Product Notes

Santa Rita 120 Cabernet Franc is a red wine produced in Chile which has gained a reputation for being a well-rounded and versatile Cabernet Franc. This deep-red wine features aromas of black currants, red berries, and black pepper that are present on the nose. On the palate, the wine is dry, medium-bodied, and offers a complex mix of fruity and spicy flavors. The grapes are harvested from Chile's Central Valley, where the climate is optimal for growing this variety of grape. The wine is then aged in oak for up to 8 months, which adds a subtle smoky flavor to the wine. Overall, Santa Rita 120 Cabernet Franc is an affordable and enjoyable wine perfect for pairing with food or enjoying on its own.

About the Winery

Santa Rita

The Maipo Valley in Chile is one of the popular wine regions in the world today. However, in 1880, when Don Domingo Fernandez Concha established the Santa Rita estate, not many people had known about the potential of this region. Concha not only set up his estate here, but he also introduced French grape varietals and French winemaking techniques in his winery. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to state that Concha was one of the pioneers of the winemaking industry in Chile.
