Tasting Note

An elegant, pale salmon in the glass. The nose has aromas of fresh raspberries, white flowers and subtle notes of vanilla pod. On the palate, it has a lovely texture from the lees ageing, with concentrated flavours of wild strawberries, citrus fruit and hints of white pepper, which are lifted with reffreshing, racy acidity.

About the Winery

Chateau Miraval

The wineries of France are known for producing exquisite quality of wines consistently. The Chateau Miraval Winery, located in the small village of Correns in South France, is no exception to this rule. This is one of the oldest wineries in France and its history is dated back to as early as the pre-Roman times; however, it came into the limelight in May 2008, when the winery was let out for lease by the chateau’s co-owners and Hollywood celebrities, Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie.
