Product Notes

La Guita Manzanilla is a popular Spanish wine that hails from the coastal town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. This sherry has a light, straw-yellow color with a nose of green apple, sea brine and almonds. La Guita Manzanilla tastes crisp, dry, and refreshing, with a perfect balance of acidity. This wine is made from Palomino Fino grapes and is aged for five years under a layer of yeast called “flor” that forms on the wine’s surface. La Guita Manzanilla is best served chilled and is perfect as an aperitif or as a companion to shellfish, sushi, or salty snacks.

About the Winery

La Guita

The history of the Spanish winery of La Guita dates back to as early as 1852. Domingo Perez Marin founded this winery during this year in the small town of Sanlucar de Barrameda in Spain. During that time, this winery was established in Bodegas Hijos de Rainera Perez Marin. Guita, in the old Andalusian accent, refers to cash.
